PROCESO DE OBTENCION DE COMPUESTO ELASTOMERICO BIOBASADO REFORZADO CON NANOESTRUCTURAS CELULOSICAS.
The present invention relates to obtaining a biobased elastomeric compound made of polyterpene matrices reinforced with cellulosic nanostructures, improving mechanical properties by up to 25%. Said method uses two polymerization techniques, coordination polymerization in solution using the Ziegler-Natta catalytic system based on neodymium (Nd), a di-isobutyl aluminum hydride (Al), and a di-chloromethyl silane (Cl), molar ratio 1/25/1; and Free radical emulsion polymerization using ammonium persulfate (APS) as initiator. Also, it performs physical incorporation of modified cellulose nanocrystals (NCCM) or modified cellulose nanofibers (NFCM) in the polymeric matrix of the polyterpenes at concentrations from 2% w/w to 12% w/w of NCCM and NFCM.
