PROCESO Y SINTESIS DE NANOPARTICULAS DE COBRE MEDIANTE QUIMICA VERDE EMPLEANDO BIOPOLIMEROS.
The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly, practical, economical, and simple process and synthesis known as green chemistry for nano-particle copper production (copper metal and copper oxide), not requiring organic solvents or toxic chemical reducing agents. Said process obtains water as a reaction medium allowing the easy and practical production of metallic copper nanoparticles in the solid phase in hemispherical form with average sizes of five nm to 50 nm, and copper oxide nanoparticles obtained in colloidal form. Also, it includes solutions of copper salts, poly-alkylamines, natural polymers or biopolymers, and organic solvents in nano-particle production, contributing towards green chemistry performed in a continuous reaction producing copper nanoparticles, making it an economical and practical method. Finally, it does not use toxic chemical-reducing agents harmful to the environment, performed in a safe and effective aqueous medium, obtaining up to 98% to 100% yields scalable for commercialization.
