The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a functional comforter. The method of manufacture a functional comforter (100) according to the present invention comprises: a shell coating step (S110) of applying a first coating (112) for repelling insects to the outer surface of a shell (110) and applying a second coating layer (113) for moisturization, dehumidification, antibacterial performance, and bacterial growth inhibition to the inner surface of the shell, the first coating containing icaridin, lavender water, citric acid, ethanol, purified water, a flavoring agent, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, and PEG-8, the second coating layer including a super absorbent antibacterial dampproof agent containing a deliquescent material, a super absorbent polymer (SAP), a pH adjusting agent, starch, a preservative, and an antibacterial material; an air supply hose/shell fusion step (S120) of overlapping two shells, each of which has the first and second coating layers, and arranging an air supply hose (120) in the inner space between the two shells in a zigzag manner to fuse the air supply hose to the shells such that an air nozzle (121) of the air supply hose is fused in communication with a groove (111), the air supply hose (120) being made of soft silicone or rubber; an insulation filling step (S130) of filling, with an insulation, the entire inner space between the shells, the space including the gaps between the zigzags of the air supply hose; and a shell outer periphery finishing step (S140) of fusing and sealing the outer peripheries of the shells when the filling is completed.
