A biodegradable polyester polymer according to the present invention is provided as a biodegradable polyester polymer for an adhesive, prepared using a polyneopentylene sebacate oligomer, in order to solve the problem of the non-biodegradability of conventional polymers prepared by using an isocyanate, which is a carcinogen, or a polyhydric alcohol or by adding a tackifier. The biodegradable polyester polymer has excellent solubility and storage stability, and an adhesive composition containing same can exhibit superb adhesive strength and peel strength without the addition of a separate tackifier.
